About us
Following his father's footsteps, Jacques McCutcheon started working in the granite industry in 1968 and has been in the business ever since.
In 1988, Granite J. McCutcheon Inc. was founded in view of becoming a family business.
Jacques three children are working for the company. Jacques oldest son, Eric joined the company in 1996 and works as chief of production and is a stone cutter by trade. Rock and Audrey, his second son, joined the company in 1998, in the sandblast department and is specialized in sandblast engraving. His daughter, Audrey joined in 2004 and works in the sandblast department on design and lettering.
Granite J. McCutcheon is a modern plant, which specialises in personalized granite and stone work, and is equipped with the latest technologies, such as a computerized saw, automatic polishers, computerized design system for the sandblast department, and computerised laser etching.
Besides granite monuments, the enterprise also produces stones for construction and landscaping.
The workforce went from 3 employees in 1988, to 13 in 1995 and to18 as of today. Yet considered as a small company we can produce almost anything a bigger company can.
The enterprise has many customers in Quebec, across Canada and in the United States.
With more than three generations of experience in the granite transformation industry, an attentive ear to its customers and the desire to improve the business, Granite J. McCutcheon is looking forward to a bright future in this very competitive international market.
